Hypnotherapy
What exactly is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic technique that helps individuals achieve a state of focused attention, heightened suggestibility, and deep relaxation. We do this by using guided meditation & imagery. The goal of hypnotherapy is to access the subconscious mind and bring about positive changes in thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.
During a hypnotherapy session, a trained therapist guides the individual into a relaxed state, often through verbal cues and soothing techniques. In this state, the person is more open to suggestions and may be better able to explore and address underlying issues or patterns that contribute to their challenges.
Hypnotherapy as a form of treatment for any psychological disorder is most effective when it is used to aid other psychotherapeutic practices and not as a replacement for psychotherapy.
It is not a form of mind control, and individuals under hypnosis still have control over their actions and cannot be forced to do anything against their will.
